The Joy of Knowledge

It's amazing how quickly life can change. I wasn't going to blog about my past week but I have amazing examples that were stronger than I. It was very appearnt that Louis Tanner (better known as Maggy) is a loved woman by all. She was my dearest friend and grandmother. I miss her. And like my sister I am hoping that this is a kind of therapy.

Thank you all who came on Saturday to support my family at her funeral services. Thank you for all the kind words and strength you gave me on that tough day. She is amazing and her love was Christ-like. That's all that goes through my mind when I think about her. She was a great example to me and I want to be just like her.

This is one of my favorite pictures out of her book.

Maggy was an amazing wife to Poppy.

Aren't they just adorable?

My words are lacking for how I have felt the past week or so. I have all the knowledge in the world to know she is happy with her mother and husband and she doesn't have problems with her breathing or with her knees anymore, but I am still selfish and miss her.

Some pictures from our wedding.

A very important thing Maggy taught me was the importance of Temples. Because of the Temple I know I will see her and Poppy again. And more importantly Maggy taught me the most important things in this life are eternal so cherish them.
 Such a beautiful place!
A great poem form Maggy:

Words Just Don't Say it All

Words are a poor excuse
for memories and
feelings that were.

My life today is
beyond logic,
beyond discontent,
beyond probable.

Some days I'm
like an old coat,
ragged at the sleeves,
missed stitches around the collar,
but comfortable for gardening.

Other days,
I'm a magnificent ball gown,
astonished all
over again with what
a snappy lady I am.

Believe me, it has been grand,
awesome,
comic,
tragic,
painful,
unforgettable,
and superb

And incidentally,
if my feet would
hold out, I would gladly
do it again.
